Police locate wanted man
Justin David Levasseur has been located and is now in police custody. Portage la Prairie RCMP issued a notice Friday they are searching for a wanted person. Portage la Prairie RCMP were seeking the public's assistance in locating the 21- year- old Levasseur. A warrant for the arrest of Levasseur had been issued. He had been charged with sexual assault with a weapon and break and enter and commit sexual assault. The charge is in relation to an alleged sexual assault complaint dating back to 2008. "Portage la Prairie RCMP would like to thank the public and media partners for their assistance in this matter," said RCMP Cpl. Miles Hiebert in a release.
